Long before we had county parks in indiana County there were private parks. Cliffside Park was one of the most popular parks of the 1920s and 30s. The park was operated by the Antonio Bianco family and had boating, picnicking, concerts, roller skating, dancing and other events. The Indiana Street Railways (trolley line) delivered passengers to the park.
The park was located 3 miles south of Indiana, PA on Two Lick Creek about where the interchange for Route 119 and Wayne Avenue is today.
