A new sidewalk system was recently completed at Old Smicksburg Park. The sidewalk makes access to the park restroom easier, it also allows visitors a safe way to walk to the shops and stores in Smicksburg rather than walking along the road. The white building in the photo is the old Smicksburg Election House which was moved to the park in December 2019.
A sunny but windy day at Hemlock Lake produced waves across the waters. The park features a 60 acre lake, picnic areas and hiking.
This 1.7 mile long trail follows the bend in the Conemaugh River in Blairsville.
