This is a photo of the interpretive panel at Buttermilk Falls that interprets Fred Rogers childhood visits to Buttermilk Falls and the cottage that was owned by his grandfather.
We have never seen anyone fishing in Blacklick Creek in Nanty Glo since the Ghost Town Trail was established here in 1994. But over the years the water quality has improved enough that some fishing is now taking place.
The North and South Branch of Blacklick Creek meet in Vintondale, PA not far from the Eliza Furnace.
