Pine Ridge Park received its first coating of snow on November 20, 2016, just two days earlier the temperature was 70 degrees here.

Tom Fetterman and a member of the IUP ROTC share a few moments after the start of the 5th annual Veteran's Marathon. Tom and Donna Scanlon did an outstanding job initiating and organizing the race for the past 5 years. Next year they hand over the duties to Al and Candice Lockard. About 350 runners participated in this year's event.
