This photo was taken on the final night of the Blue Spruce Park Festival of Lights, January 1, 2015. The festival was discontinued after a 23 year run.
Maintaining the sidewalks is a winter task for our maintenance crew who ensure that the sidewalks are kept passable for the IUP students and other pedestrians who travel through the park. Many people do not realize that Memorial Park is a county park and not a borough park. The park is funded by county tax dollars, no Indiana Borough taxes are used here.
The Hoodlebug Trail is a great place to take a stroll to get some fresh air for mom and babies alike.
