Memorial Park was once used as a cemetery for members of the Indiana, PA German Lutheran Church. Burials at the park ended around 1875.

Now in bloom in swamps and wetland areas is the Trout Lily. The name is derived from the leaves that have the speckled appearance of a trout. Posted April 15, 2016
