In the spring of the year the white, foamy flowers of the Foamflower carpet the forest floor. By late Fall the leaves, shown here, take on a colorful appearance long after the flowers have faded.
Travelers on the nearby Hoodlebug Trail and Route 119 may not realize that nearby Stoney Run takes on a wild appearance with several small waterfalls. The aptly named Stoney Run in this location has a stream bed that is solid bedrock.
Horse and buggies from a local Mennonite group had a procession after leaving church at their meeting house on Thanksgiving morning. The Mennonites in this group have a meeting house for church services, rather than meeting in homes like the Amish do. They also use flashing battery-operated lights and orange safety symbols on their buggies.
