While our crews were working to replace the roof on a park restroom we snapped this overview photo of the Pavilion #1 area of the park. Over 5,000 visitors used this pavilion in 2015. The large shelter was the first facility built at the park when constructed in 1972.
We've had a spate of warm weather recently and the puffy clouds at Yellow Creek State Park on this particular November afternoon reminded us of something we would typically see in mid-summer.
Cool temperatures and sunny skies greeted the nearly 350 runners who competed in the Veteran's Marathon and Half Marathon at the Ghost Town Trail on November 8, 2015. The race is sponsored by the Indiana Roadrunner's Club.
