A large number of attendees were present for the program on Woodland Indians presented by Dr. Bob Millward held at the Blue Spruce Park Lodge. Through demonstrations and artifacts Dr. Millward offered a highly entertaining look at the life of the first people to inhabit our area.
Both Harmon and Trusal Covered Bridges are receiving new metal roofs this spring. A well-protected roof is important for keeping a covered bridge in good condition. Early bridge builders learned that a bridge with a cover lasted much longer than one that was exposed to the elements. Posted April 8, 2016.
