As you travel along the Hoodlebug Trail you will pass the location of what was once the largest incubator factory in the world. The incubators were used to raise chickens and from the Homer City plant were shipped world-wide. In later years the plant housed the Syntron Company and later FMC. An interpretive display where you can learn more about the incubaotor works can be found along the trail.
Our trails at the Blacklick Valley Natural Area have recently been mowed making for some great fall hiking. There are 6 miles of trails on the property that meander through fields and forested areas.
Mum plantings add some color to the Blue Spruce Park Lakeside Center during the fall season.
