This young bullfrog will eventually grow to an impressive size. Bullfrogs are found in a variety of aquatic habitats ranging from small ponds to the margins of large lakes, streams, rivers, creeks and backwaters.
The Memory Garden at Old Smicksburg Park was created to honor former residents of this small village. Many residents lost their homes in the early 1940s when much of the town was condemned by the federal government for use as a flood control area for Mahoning Dam.
