The number of migrating Monarchs in 2017 seems to be higher than what we have observed in the past few years. This one stopped along the Hoodlebug Trail for some nectar before continuing its journey to Mexico.
The Nothern Brownsnake is rarely seen in Indiana County but small populations of them do occur here. They are very docile and will seldom bite. The feed mainly on slugs and worms.
