As Two Lick Creek's water quality has improved over the past decades the improvement is documented by the increase in aquatic life found there. At this children's program we explored the stream bed looking for signs of invertebrate life. Other studies have shown that the stream now supports a reproducing brown trout population, a hopeful sign of the continuing improvements to water quality in the Two Lick Creek watershed.

At the meadow at Waterworks Conservation Area you will find a variety of wildflowers blooming throughout the year. Waterworks Conservation Area is located three miles south of Indiana, PA. The 10-acre site features a walking path, restored wetlands area and access to Two lick Creek.
