An Eastern Garter Snake is well hidden among the leaves along the Ghost Town Trail.
Today this location is a peaceful spot along the Ghost Town Trail near Heshbon but in July 1982 it was the scene of one of our county's most tragic incidents. On that fateful day four children lost their lives in the swirling waters of Blacklick Creek while trying to save each other.
