The enbtrance sign at the Blacklick Valley Natural Area notes that the property is 675 acres in size. Since the sign was installed several years ago some additional property has been added and the BVNA now totals 713 acres, making it hte largest natural area in our park system.
You know it as that plant that sticks to your clothes or your dog's hair but burdock also has some colorful purple buds that appear in July. Velcro was created by a Swedish scientist who used Burdock as his model.
