Most of us associate the crocus with the coming of Spring but there is a species that blooms in the Fall. These ones are blooming at this time at the end of October just outside our office at Blue Spruce Park.
There's a saying that park managers 'take their pay in sunsets'. We would have to add sunrises to the list also. We have had the good fortune to witness many spectacular sunrises and sunsets at this park over the years.
This little guy was found wandering along the Ghost Town Trail by Austin McElwee of our Ghost Town Trail crew.
