These apple blossoms are from an apple tree that was planted at Blue Spruce Park many years ago. Long before the park was established much of the surrounding property was farm land. The apples this tree produces aren't much for eating but the deer like them.
Warming temperatures make the ice in this small stream along the Ghost Trail recede.
