The early 20th century photo was believed to have been taken around 1912. The farmhouse, barn and other buildings no longer exist although the foundation of the barn can still be located. The area in the photo is the location of the Getty Run Trail system at Blue Spruce Park - today the area is entirely wooded and you would never know that a farm and pastureland once existed here.
This is what the the overflow of Cummings Dam looks like a full capacity. Since 1912 water has flowed over the spillway.
