Most of the Blairsville Riverfront Trail is completely flat but the far western end of the trail near the Bairdstown Bridge has a hill to climb.
This photo came to us via Linda Gwinn of Blairsville, PA. Blairsville is an historic town with connections to the PA Canal era and the early days of railroads in Indiana County. Much of the downtown area still retains its historic architecture.
June 2015 has been a rainy month. Twice this month the Blairsville Riverfront Trail has been flooded on the Bairdstown Bridge end of the trail. The remainder of the 1.7 mile trail remains open.
